Is TradeCopier Free? Permanent Free Plan, Limits and Setup

Yes. TradeCopier has a permanent Free plan with one trading group and three total connected accounts. The plan does not expire after seven days, and time alone does not force an upgrade. It is intended for a small live or test configuration within the published account and feature limits.

The Free plan describes access to TradeCopier software. It does not provide a trading account, capital, a signal provider or permission to copy under a broker's or prop firm's rules. Trading costs and third-party platform or broker charges can still apply.

For the difference between copy trading, a trade copier, social trading and managed accounts, use the copy-trading definition guide. To compare several software and signal-service models, use the dated software comparison. This page is limited to TradeCopier's Free plan, capacity and setup checks.

The current pricing page is the controlling public source for plan limits, paid monthly and annual options, and optional account rules. The Terms also state that the Free plan is permanent within its published limits.

What one group and three accounts mean

A trading group is the configuration used to organize a copying workflow. The three-account allowance is the total published account capacity for the Free plan, rather than three followers in addition to an unlimited source. Do not infer an account topology from the headline alone. Confirm how the source, followers and any connection-specific records count before planning the group.

A small example might use one source account and two follower accounts if that arrangement is supported for the exact platforms and brokers. This is an illustration of the three-account arithmetic, not a guarantee that every platform pair, broker server, instrument or account mode can be combined.

Check compatibility before adding an account

A plan allowance does not establish technical compatibility. Review the supported-platform information, then confirm the precise source platform, destination platform, broker, server, account type, region, instrument and copying direction. Platform logos alone do not prove that every possible route is available.

Also identify hedging, netting, FIFO and close-by behavior where relevant. Record symbol names, contract sizes, minimum and maximum quantity, quantity step and any suffix mapping. A valid source order can be rejected or translated differently when the destination rules do not match.

How to start on the Free plan

  1. Open Get Started and follow the link to the official TradeCopier app.
  2. Create an account through the official signup page. The public signup flow says no credit card is required to begin.
  3. List the exact source and follower accounts you intend to connect and confirm that the total fits the three-account allowance.
  4. Check the source-to-destination platform route and any broker or account-mode restrictions.
  5. Create one group and configure sizing, symbol mapping, copy filters and risk actions for the intended workflow.
  6. Use a permitted demo or otherwise controlled environment where available. Start with the smallest valid quantity.
  7. Test every action the strategy uses, including open, modify, pending order, partial close, full close and reconnect behavior.
  8. Compare the source event, copier record, destination order, fills or deals and final position. Keep failures and unresolved outcomes in the test record.

When a paid plan may be needed

Move to a paid monthly or annual plan when the required number of groups, connected accounts or product features exceeds the Free-plan limits. Do not upgrade merely because an old article described a timed trial; that statement was incorrect and has been removed.

Calculate capacity from the complete setup. Count every source and follower using the current account-counting rule, then compare that result with the plan table. Paid plans can include additional capacity, but their current prices, included limits and add-on terms should be checked at purchase time.

What the Free plan does not promise

Free access does not guarantee identical fills, low slippage, uninterrupted connectivity, broker acceptance, prop-firm compliance or profit. Copier processing, network transport, broker acknowledgement and market execution are separate stages. A configured loss or equity threshold is an instruction or trigger, not a guaranteed exit price.

Only copy activity that you are authorized to operate. Review the current rules for every broker, platform, prop firm and jurisdiction involved. Stop the workflow and reconcile the accounts when a destination outcome is missing, rejected, partial or uncertain.
